Another thrown about remark has appeared in the GOP (republican) candidacy debates, As second favourite Newt Ginrich remarks that Palestinians are an "Invented people" and "terrorists" http://bbc.in/rSdafk . Without getting into the messy business of Middle-east politics, the main question has to stand how can someone aiming for the top job in American politics be allowed to openly preach such controversial remarks as this, (just the latest in many of this campaign mind you)
Just imagine if at the last general election Cameron had come out with similar remarks about say the French or the Chinese even, we'd brand him reckless and even racist. Why are such strong biased views encouraged in American politics and not discouraged like in the Uk and Newt define an Invented people if you would, like say "Americans"? Last I recall you used to be called British colonists. Didn't you invent that name? That's the funny thing about sovereign matters everyone has had to "invent" their society or else we'd all just be called human.
A slightly opinionated blog about the mad world that is world economics, politics and society. Basically all the big things that effect all of us that most people can't be bothered thinking about.
